My very first Southern art experience was with 75 artists cranking out drawings in one room at the High Museum of Art, Saturday September, 12, 2015.
Every hour for 3 hours, 25 artists draw while the DJ plays great beats. Attendants whisked away our drawings to a photographer and then to the sale area where they were sold to the first bidder for $75. Each piece was created to support the museum and artists they represent. With a purchase of a drawing you received a bag with all of the artists' names.
A very unique and extremely enjoyable experience! A huge thanks are in order to the museum staff and Curator Michael Rooks.
